It started out as a FIREHOUSE Grand Tour Ride and turned into 22 firehouses in a day. When the "S" station we were supposed to stop at unexpectedly turned out to be a "T" (Wait! There's no "T" in FIREHOUSE - that's what we were thinking when we pulled up in front of the SIR WILLIAM JOHNSON FIRE COMPANY and saw it now named the TRYON FIRE DISTRICT), our fearless leader decided, on-the-fly, to grab 12 STATIONS for the newer Knights with us that didn't already have it. Some quick re-routing, and bam! We captured both Grand Tour patches in a single ride of about 200 miles.
We were on such a roll - we grabbed one EXTRA firehouse!
