ROCKS, BRIDGES, and TROLLS!

A couple of weeks after Americade, NY III continues the Covid-era tradition of Non-Americade - a week of riding and comradery at the Whippoorwill Campgrounds in Lake George. This year, members of NY III were joined by NY LIII and NH 1 Knights for some beautiful riding in the Adirondacks. Knights did a "Rock Ride", visiting the Pig painted Rock in Speculator, the Ninja Turtle painted rock in Bakers Mills, and the Elephant painted rock in Hague. A bonus "Slug Rock" was found at our usual stop at the Hague Market! Then we completed RKMC MA 2's Searching For Covered Bridges Challenge. The Friday ride took us to upper Tupper to visit the Trolls at the Wild Center and celebrate Jasmyne's 17th birthday! Saturday's curvy Blue Mountain ride got cut short by a pretty steady rain, but by the time we got back to camp, the blue skies were out for our nightly campfire. A great time was had by all that attended.
