Application for Membership

Interesting in joining the Red Knights?  Wanna ride with New York III?

There are only a couple of requirements:

1.    You must be an active or retired firefighter (we don't care if you were a volunteer or career...we're all brothers and sisters!)
2.    You must have access to a motorcycle (Harley or Honda, cruiser or crotch rocket...it makes no difference as long as it's 2 wheels - or maybe 3!)
3.    Get voted in, pay your dues, and wear the patches with pride!  The right to wear our patch comes with serving in the Fire Service.


Click the downloadable application button (Microsoft Excel format) and fill it out.  The quickest way to get this to us would be to fill it out on your computer, save it, then email it to our Membership Committee Chairman -
Your application will be reviewed, your references grilled, credit check, drug test and criminal background check performed, initiation and hazing scheduled (just kidding!), and you will be contacted about attending the next meeting or event! 

Annual dues for all levels of membership (Active, Social, or Associate) are $20.00 (may be pro-rated according to your application date).  This does not include the cost of your club patches.
Our clubhouse, at the old West Albany Station 2, is home to the New York Retired Volunteer Firefighter's Association (NYRVFA).  NYRVFA has extended an invitation to all Red Knights to join the fun.  Membership provides comradery and a social environment for brothers and sisters of the fire service.  Membership fee and annual dues are $25.  If you're interested, check out www.nyrvfa.com or click the link below to download and print the application.  Applications and membership fee can be mailed to 36 Osborne Road, Albany, NY  12202.
